i-Tree Eco workflow?

Hi, I wonder if that is the workflow of i-Tree and what is the terminology of each part.
The workflow based on my understanding:
- The desktop app i-Tree Eco is basically a data input interface.
- The data is then sent to a remote server (how do I call it, is "remote server" right?).
- The calculation is done on the remote server.
- The results (a PDF report) is sent back to the user.

That is mostly correct. The i-Tree Eco application on your desktop also allows for management of mobile data collection, it has many different reporting features and capabilities, and it includes a Forecasting module for projecting benefits from your tree population over time. Also, when you retrieve the results into your project it is actually retrieving a database of reports that populates over 75 different tables in the i-Tree Eco reporting tab along with the .pdf written report.
