This error appears to only occur with users using Internet Explorer 8. The easiest ways to avoid this error when loading or running an i-Tree canopy project is to:
1) Upgrade to Internet Explorer 9
2) Use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
3) If you must use Internet Explorer 8 you can install the Chrome Frame plugin which allows Internet Explorer 8 to use Google Chrome's rendering engine.
Google Frame can be obtained at: http://www.google.com/chromeframe?quickenable=true
You can also select "No" in the dialog box and allow the script to finish running. The Canopy application should run normally after that.
