It would be cool if when retrieving data from the PDA, that you could have the option to clear data from the PDA instead the program forcing you to clear the data from the PDA. It could be helpful to maintain the tree inventory information in the PDA. I know the reason is to avoid duplicates.
Is there a way to get the Access iTree Grand Database to notice duplicates and refuse uploads of duplicative data? Any other ways to avoid duplication? Thanks.

Field Data Transfer and Data Clearing of PDA
Brian,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have heard this request from another user recently and brought this up during a recent development meeting. We are still inclined to recommend using an SD card for storing data on a PDA to avoid problems of record duplication or unintentionally overwriting database files.
We are working on allowing data to be transferred from the desktop back to the PDA which will allow for re-sampling of existing data.
