Hello,
In the explanation about the UFORE D model I guess it asumes a mixing layer altitude of 150m during the night and 250m during the day. I want to know if i-Tree ECO uses that altitude of mixing layer or it is an input data that I have to research. Do you have the source about that assumption?
regards,
Clara.

Re: Ufore D: Mixing layer
Hello,
You can find a more complete explanation of the current methodology used to calculate mixing height in i-Tree Eco in this document http://www.itreetools.org/eco/resources ... ements.pdf. That document is available within our archives, http://www.itreetools.org/resources/archives.php. The UFORE-D methodology is used within i-Tree Eco to estimate pollutant deposition rates.
The values you mentioned are the default minimums that will be used if calculated mixing heights fall below those boundary values.
Users do not need to provide mixing height values as location specific global estimates have already been determined within the software.
Thanks for your question.
