There are no plans to port i-Tree to the Mac platform as our resources are limited to develop and support multiple platforms for public domain software.
However, Apple users have used i-Tree successfully by using alternative solutions such as
Apple supports dual-booting, so you can always set up your machine as described here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/what-is/compatibility.html
If you do not want to set up a dual boot, you can use a proprietary program such as Parallels http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/
which would let you run Windows as a window within the Mac system at close to full speed.
For either of these options you will need to have a valid version of the Windows operating system to install.
Will there be a version that runs on Apple Mac OS X?
