importing existing inventory for tree benefit estimates

Post by openlandsGIS » Thu Feb 13, 2014 11:41 am

I'm hoping to import an existing inventory to generate benefit estimates (i-Tree Design) for individual trees. Here is a link to the inventory

I don't know if this is possible and would appreciate any advice.

There is currently no way to import existing inventories into i-Tree Design. However, it is possible to import existing inventories in i-Tree Streets. i-Tree Streets is part of the downloadable software that you can by clicking on "Get the tools" at http://www.itreetools.org. There are instructions for how to import data into i-Tree Streets in the User's Manual which you can access from the Help menu in Streets. Additionally, we have created a series of videos that walk-through an example of the import process and you can access those from the "Resources" tab on our website or directly form this link [url]http://www.itreetools.org/resources/videos.php[url].

Please let us know if you have any trouble with the process.
