Distance from bldgs/energy savings optional?

The Welcome page states that entering trees distance to buildings is optional. If we don't have this info yet, should we just enter >60 ft for all the trees? I assume then that the Bldg vintage & climate controls can be left as the default. I also assume we should then ignore the CO2 avoided and Electricity & Fuel saved columns (since the actual plantings may be near buildings, it just hasn't been determined yet). Are the building-specific parameters involved in any of the other calculations? In other words, would the estimates be valid for all the other columns (avoided run-off ,etc)?

Yes, the building parameters will only impact the energy related results.
