Hi everyone --
This is both a "tip" potentially and a recruitment. I am starting a small i-Tree Eco collection in Santa Barbara next week. There are many species to be familiar with out here (many more than my last Eco study in DC). As such, I've set up a website to crowd source the IDs of trees that we couldn't determine in the field. The initial "crowd" is local/regional experts who have other jobs and can't just be in the field with us. I'm hoping though that I can spread interest in this ID game further (hint, hint).

Hi Mike --
Neat idea!
Made me wonder if the means of submission could be simplified and thereby encouraged by using a phone app such as ODK Collect on Android and ViewWorld on iOS (using same form). Just a thought.
Unfortunately, I am unable to participate from 4K miles away...
