Forecasting modeling by species

Post by Daniele » Sun Dec 06, 2020 9:02 am

Hi,
I'm going to project an urban garden in Tuscany (Italy), so I would like to forecast which are its benefits (Carbon storage and Pollution removal) by species with i-tree EVO 6 knowing the DBH and hight of each involved species that I plant : Can I do it?
In a few words, use i-tree EVO 6 in the same way of i-Tree Planting Calculator, as the project is not in USA.
Thank you.

Hello Daniele,

Depending on the specific location you would like to conduct a project in i-Tree Eco may be ready to use. To find out if your project location is available in Eco go here, https://database.itreetools.org/#/viableLocations.

If your project location is not available you can use the i-Tree Database tool, https://database.itreetools.org/#/splash, to upload the necessary information and then within 6 months that will be incorporated into Eco and projects can be run for that location. To read more about international use of i-Tree go here, https://www.itreetools.org/support/res ... ernational.

It is possible to upload tree data into i-Tree Eco when Complete Inventory is chosen as the project type during project set up. At a minimum species and dbh is required for an i-Tree Eco complete inventory project.

Kind Regards, Erika
