What if a plot is half in and half out of the study area?

If a portion of the plot falls outside of the study area boundary, it should still be used for data collection. Data should be measured for the portion of the plot that is within the study area boundaries. The percent of the plot area that is within the study boundary should be entered in the Percent Measured field in the PDA application or paper form.

Note- this post was updated and previously suggested throwing out the plot and selecting another complete plot from extras which was incorrect. A user brought this to our attention.
