This is covered in detail in the i-Tree Eco User’s Manual, found under the application program Help menu or at the Resource - Manuals & Workbooks page on the i-Tree website (http://www.itreetools.org). In addition, there are numerous project planning & management resources found under the Resources - Archives page. http://www.itreetools.org/resources/archives.php
The basic steps are:
1) Phase 1 - Early Decisions -
Determine objectives & consider available resources, establish study area, decide on sample or inventory, Paper or PDA data collection, decide on plot distribution if sample based.
2) Phase 2 - Getting Started
Create & configure project- configure data collection devices, create data collection materials such as maps, property notifications, recruit and train (or hire) data collection personnel
3) Phase 3 Out in the Field
Setting up plots for sample projects, collect the field data & perform quality checks.
4) Phase 4 Running Eco
Transferring data into Eco, submitting data for analysis, loading results & running report.
What do I have to do to run an i-Tree Eco analysis?
