Number of field plots needed to analyze my area of interest?

Post by i-Tree Support » Thu Jan 04, 2007 1:35 pm

The number of plots is up to the user. Increasing the number of plots and/or size of the plots will typically lead to lower variances and increased certainty in the results, but it also tends to increase the cost of the project. Detailed recommendations are provided in the i-Tree User's Manual. http://www.itreetools.org/resources/man ... Manual.pdf
