Growth over time of impervious surface area

Post by edhines » Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:45 pm

Hello, I am looking for information showing growth over time of impervious surface area in my community. For example, a graph or table indicating the percentage of surface area that is impervious, covering the time frame from say, 2000 through 2022, for my city, located in Florida USA

I feel pretty sure the information exists, but have not been able to find it. If anyone could steer me in the right direction, I would be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ed,
If you have an urban forester, planning department, or GIS department in your community you might want to check with them first. If you want to use the i-Tree tools the most accurate way to do that would be using i-Tree Canopy. We have a few videos that walk-through the process on our Video Learning page. It will probalby take something like 4-8 hours to complete the necessary work in i-Tree Canopy if that is what you chose to do.
Thanks,
Jason
