Trouble calculating volume

Post by mzirmar » Mon Oct 25, 2021 5:00 am

I would like to enter DBH of avocado trees in Mexico and have the volume calculated but I don't really know if this is possible. I have more measurements of individual trees if it is necessary. I don't know which of the i-tree tools would be useful for me. Thank you.

Hello,

Which i-Tree tool you choose to use depends on your resources such as time and data, hardware you are using (pc or mac), and the goals of your project. To help in making that decision go here: https://www.itreetools.org/tools/which- ... ould-i-use

If you have further questions please email us at info@itreetools.org

Thank you, Erika

None of the i-Tree tools estimate wood volume. i-Tree Eco can provide you with an estimate of full tree wood biomass but that may not meet your goals. You can always download i-Tree Eco, https://www.itreetools.org/verify/?next ... 6.1.38.exe, and give it a try to see if it will meet your needs.
Thanks,
Jason
