Re: How to apply the i-Tree Eco in the tropical region?

Hello, The i-Tree software benefits estimates are based on the best science we have available to us. In doing a Canopy project for a location that is not included in that tool users will choose a proxy location that has similar precipitation and polution levels to their project location. Best regard...

Re: Excel template for STRATUM data

Hello, Thank you for pointing out issues you have encountered with that template. STRATUM is no longer a supported software tool, therefore any supporting documents will not be updated. We encourge users to conduct i-Tree Eco projects instead. To find information about this tool go here, https://www...

Re: iTree Eco:data collection options (crown size)

Hello Kasey,

i-Tree Eco requires all four of those crown measurements to be inputted. As you have all but percent missing you could input the default of 13% that Eco uses when those data are not available.

Re: Landcover data from additional years

Unfortunately, there are not plans to incorporate the 2016 and 2019 interim releases for the NLCD; Landscape is currently displaying national land cover across 10-year spans. The 2021 release is expected to include the updated data for canopy change, and would likely be the next release considered f...

Re: Please search

Hello,
It is not possible to export the boundary of a Canopy project.
It is possible to export the points evaluated in a Canopy project by going to the Project drop down menu and then Export.
Kind regards, Erika

Hi, Empty cells need to contain -999. The unit for CO can be ppm or can I use (µg / m3). If you do not have it already, the pollution template can be found here: https://www.itreetools.org/documents/641/Air_Pollution_Template_2017updated.zip make sure you read the notes attached to the cells at the ...

Hello Lindsey, Different tree benefits assessment models will estimate benefits differently. Hello Luis, There are two options for using i-Tree Eco in a location that is not available. One is choosing a location that has a similar climate.
