Customizing timeseries inputs (e.g. weather, observed flow) in Hydro v6

i-Tree Hydro V6 processes timeseries data - weather, evaporation, and observed streamflow - into a comma delimited format. This is intended to make it easier for users to customize their timeseries inputs. Comma delimited data can be copy and pasted into spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel,...

Re: Hydro stream gage map "index was out of range" bug

This issue has been resolved in i-Tree Suite v6.1.20. If you have the software already downloaded on your computer, open one of the apps and update through that. For example, open i-Tree Hydro then click on Help drop-down in the top menu bar and select "Check for Updates".

Hydro stream gage map "index was out of range" bug

Preloaded streamflow data selected from a map is not downloading correctly correctly. If starting a project from scratch and downloading streamflow data from the map, you'll get an "Index was out of range" error. If other streamflow data had been provided in the project, the program will use that in...

Hydro v5.1 parameter "Annual Average Flow" default and range issues

There are multiple Hydro v5 issues revolving around the parameter q0 (listed in the GUI as 'Annual Average Flow of Project Area') having its default value and range calculated incorrectly by the software. We're converting from Annual Average Flow (m^3/s) in the GUI to specific discharge (m/hr) and s...

Estimates impacted by the Eco v6.0.4 (Suite v6.1.16) update

The carbon sequestration, oxygen, and structural value estimates are slightly different after updating to Eco version 6.0.4 due to a change in how tree condition/dieback information is processed. Up to version 6.0.3, the user-defined dieback categories were grouped into 7 standard report dieback cat...

Why is the system being changed for international projects?

The US Forest Service has processed international UFORE and Eco projects for the past 10 years free of charge as a courtesy. The old manual processing system is not sustainable to meet the increased interest given our limited resources and funding. Although the new system may have more data and time...

Can my project be expedited?

We understand and appreciate that i-Tree users have their own project deadlines and many ask us for expedited processing. Since the new system is still in development, we can't accommodate these requests until the system is operational and we address the current backlog of projects.
