Hi Abby,
I didn't see your email come through to support (info@itreetools.org). You may want to try creating a packed project from the "File" menu in i-Tree Eco then send us the .zip file that is created.
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Data Validation Error
I haven't seen that error before. Please make sure that i-Tree Eco is installed locally on your computer and not in a cloud location. Also, make sure that the .ieco file you are working with is on your local machine and not in a cloud location. If both of those conditions are met and you are still r...

Re: Including trees with missing values in report
Thanks for your question. The crown size parameters are grouped together in i-Tree Eco because they all used exclusively to create the estimate of leaf surface area which drives many of the ecosystem service estimates in i-Tree. Our science development team decided that it made sense to require eith...

Re: Forecast failed! could not execute query
Hi Vincent,
That size project isn't too big and it seems like your computer should be able to handle the Forecast model run. You can send a packed copy of your project to our support email info@itreetools.org and we can take a closer look.
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Forecast failed! could not execute query
Hi, This typically happens for one of two reasons. 1. You may be using an outdated version of i-Tree Eco. Please click on the "Software Update" button under the Support tab within i-Tree Eco to ensure that you are using the latest version. 2. Your computer is running out of memory when run...

Re: Canopy Cover Area on Modelization
Hi Luca, i-Tree Forecast is not an individual tree model. It groups trees into cohorts by species and size. You can get the cohort level outputs as a detailed SQLite database if click on the "Browse" button and select a location for that file at the bottom of the Configuration Summary scre...

Re: submit data to Mobile devices
I checked in with the developers and the good news is that a select all toggle will appear in the next update we release for i-Tree Eco (v6.0.33). We are currently doing internal testing of that update and I would expect it to be released in the next month or so. That select all toggle that you see ...

This issue is on our developers to do list. It will be addressed as time an funding allows. I know that this isn't at the top their list of issues and new features as it impacts relatively few users.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Time period for Data Processing
The processing of submitted i-Tree Eco projects is automated and is usually completed within an hour. Occasionally, if the queue is very long it may take longer. If you did not receive an email indicating your data has been processed you may want to check your junk/spam folder. You can also use the ...

Re: How is Carbon sequestration calculated exactly and where to find the species specific factors used in calculation?
Hi Lisa, You can find most of this information in our Understanding i-Tree document and the associated appendices. The carbon (page 42) and biomass sections (page 23) of that document as well as the biomass equations in Appendix 10 and the Wood Density equations in Appendix 11 are all relevant to th...

Re: Submit Data For Processing Not Working
When the submission process stops at 40% it means that your computer is not able to access our servers. Our servers have not had any downtime over the last couple days so this is likely an issue on your end. Typically, this occurs when a computer or network firewall is preventing i-Tree Eco from hav...

Re: Application of iTree For Rural Forests
Hi Lado, Yes, i-Tree Eco could work for this purpose. You may want to take a look at one of the built in example stratified plot projects available under the File menu in Eco to make sure that the results will be useful for your work. As far as stratification, this depends on the goals of your proje...
