We very much appreciate the use of the template for our work; however, we have found some discrepancies (and I am not sure I am allowed to attach a template). As we have been reformatting existing inventories, we have found some items that may cause fustration for users. In the template, TreeID Zone...

Hold Tree Species Function in i-Tree Streets
If I remember correctly, STRATUM allowed the user to select a tree species and the selection was held for the next record. In Streets, this is not possible. Is there any possibility of being able to hold a tree species in Streets? I find this would be a useful function if you are met with a row plan...

Exportation of Data
My colleages and I have determined after using i-Tree street the past three years that it would make things easier if their were some way to export all the data records in a given i-Tree database to an excel spreadsheet or an access database. This would make the data usable if i-Tree ever becomes ob...

Al, When I click on the comment box on the Species tab, it becomes raised. The Condition - Leaves box is shown but clicking on it does not reset the comment box to show both condition fields. If I complete that tree and enter a new one the Species tab is not reset unless I restart Streets. I have pr...

problem viewing data collection screen with PDA
With i-Tree Streets version 3.0.3 - I have been having problems with my Dell Axim X51v showing the complete data collection screen but only with the Species tab (this is an improvement from my July post). At 1st it will show all of the fields, but if you click on the comment section to type a commen...

Re: Energy Conservation Improving After Removing Trees?
We have been discussing possible reasons that could produce this outcome. It may be possible that the statistical estimation of the model may be impacted by the removal of trees from the data set as segments and the extrapolation of the remaining trees may affect the results. In short, we would be ...

Energy Conservation Improving After Removing Trees?
After loading the project for a select municipality and running the program, I was given a total summary of conservation benefits of $702,XXX. After removing close to 500 street trees from the inventory, I was given a conservation benefit of $770,XXX. This is an increase of $68,XXX by removing these...

I have tried it on 2 devices. On the dell axim X51v with windows mobile 5.0 (OS 5.1.195) i-Tree Streets loads and works but does not display properly. The start up screen and log in screen show up fine. Once you start working on a tree where the page has tabs at the bottom it only takes up 1/2 the w...

i-Tree Streets compatibility with Windows Mobile 5.0
I have installed i-Tree Streets and am using a PDA to collect field data. When I transferred the project to the PDA everything worked fine. The problem I am having is that when I am working with i-Tree Streets on the PDA I cannot see all the fields. The page tabs that I assume should be at the botto...

Thank you for the tips. I was not sure if STRATUM records were kept through the Davey Resource Goup or the US Forest Service. But I do appreciate the information and will try and look deeper and see if I can find any other information where STRATUM has been used and detailed in a peer reviewed journ...
