So, if I am doing the canopy loss senario, do I fill out columns AE to AN on the post storm damage spreadsheet?

This refers to the post storm damage spreadsheet in SDAP and continues a question I posted a month ago.

So, if I am using cubic yards, I put a y in column AD. Then I put my cubic yardage in columns AE to AN. Then column AP shows me the total. Is this correct?

If I am using canopy loss, do I put a ...

Has anyone done UFORE and also had an American Forests Urban Ecosystem Analysis done? How do the results compare? We are thinking of using the former to show % canopy changes since the latter was done.

1st question

For the "post data" page on the excel spreadsheet for SDAP, column AD is titled CY and column AP is titled Cytotal. What is the difference? I can't figure how what to put there.

2nd question

Same spreadsheet - Columns AE to AO refer to "canopy loss" instead of "crown loss" that is ...

For the SDAP excel sheet entitled PreAnalysis, shouldn't the formula for cell H22 be PreData!V103 instead of PreData!V102?

The SDAP "PreAnalysis" excel sheet uses the phrase "Pre-Storm Estimate of Major Storm Damage." Can someone define "major storm"?

On this excel sheet called PreData, here are my questions:

1. For "length," do you want feet or miles? BTW, we are using feet for "ROW."
2. What is "MultiSegment"? Am I right in assuming it requires a yes or no?
3. If a column like "Start" is N/A, do we just leave it blank?

For each segment, it gives the street name, street addresses to be included in the sample, length of segment and the "from" and "to" coordinates of each segment . I ran a sample and the GPS coordinates for every segment were exactly the same. BTW, we are a city of 90,000. Anyone know why?

Page 213 in the manual is "Form 3 - Page 2." The seventh footnote refers the reader to "Table G-1 on the last page of these forms." Anyone know where table G-1 is or if that's a typo?

Page 208 of the manual has a form entitled "PRE-Storm Field Data Collection Sheet (Populated Area)." In the bottom section, there are places to compute hours for removal and hours for hazardous pruning for trees in the ROW. The right-hand part of that table is for trees within 50 feet of the ROW but ...

The new manual sets 30 segments as the appropriate sample size for SDAP. This makes for a small sample if you're in a large city. Will FEMA accept it? (I know I can go higher but I need to know if FEMA will accept the 30.)
