The two random generators for street segments (STRATUM, SDAP) and plots (UFORE) do not work properly in ArcMap 9.2 Service Pack 1, though they work correctly in earlier versions (8.3 through 9.1). We are currently testing 9.2 Service Pack 2 and will post results here when we have them.

The Sample Plot Generator for UFORE does not work properly in ArcMap 9.2. We are working on new procedures to correct the problem. In the meantime, a draft procedure is now available as a work-around fix for creating random, single strata plots.

Follow the directions (RPG Plots single Strata.pdf) in the attached *.zip file and utilize the included iTree.mxd file as directed.

Random Plot Workbooks are now available for UFORE users of ESRI ArcGIS v9.2 at the iTree website under the Sample Inventory Generator page which can be accessed through the Applications and Utilities button from the main page http://www.itreetools.org/applications/sig.shtm

The workbooks are for ESRI ArcGIS v9.2 users who want manual procedures for creating random, no stratification, pre-stratification and post-stratification sample points and their associated UFORE required data within a defined UFORE project area.
